@claypiesexygod The film is called “Bankok Hilton” and is about a woman who gets sentenced to death for smuggeling drugs. It´s pretty good, and Nicole Kidman is easy on the eye.

Executions by machine gun took place in Thailand prior to October 19th, 2001 when lethal injection was adopted as the method of execution. Therefore, the events taking place in this film MUST have occurred before late 2001.

In the old days the Thais beheaded criminals, unless the the condemned had royal blood in him, in which case he were to be beaten to death with a piece of sweet-smelling wood. In 1932 they switched to death by machine gun that lasted until 2003 when lethal injections took over. Prisoners was always shot in the heart from behind so the dead person’s departing spirit could not see the face of the executioner and come back to haunt him
